Watching the Grass Grow
Two weeks ago, we rented a tiller and turned over our front yard. We both ran the tiller quite a bit. My wife put down the grass seed the next day. We've been watering the ground twice a day trying to keep it damp. Yesterday, her dad came up and suggested that I rake it over so that the seed gets a little dirt on top, Mark lent us his broadcast spreader and gave us some lawn fertilizer. I raked the ground, got it really wet and this morning, WE HAVE SPROUTS!!!11!! I have been working on my website, got a new look going. I have been using a program that is a GNU (open source i.e. free) version of photoshop called "the Gimp" - It inspired me to do some graphics work, create some buttons - In turn I am re-organizing my site to simplify some things and allow some expansion. Will be updating in a few days, then I can use this blog and the site to point to each other.
